MenB (Meningococcal B) Vaccination Available from 20 July 2026
From 20 July 2026, the NHS is offering the MenB (Meningococcal B) vaccination through participating community pharmacies for eligible young people.
Who is eligible?
You may be eligible if you are:
- A Year 13 student, born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008.
- Under 25 years old (born on or after 21 July 2001) and starting university or eligible residential further education for the first time in Autumn 2026.
How to book
Year 13 students
- Book your vaccination through the NHS National Booking Service.
Students starting Higher or Residential Further Education
- From 20 July 2026, you can self-refer to a participating community pharmacy.

Please note that Pembroke Surgery is not providing this vaccination as part of this programme. Eligible patients should arrange their vaccination directly with a participating community pharmacy.
