We would like to inform our patients that we have been notified by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) of elevated lead levels in the water supply at Cheam School, Thatcham.

What you need to know

  • This issue relates specifically to Cheam School premises only.
  • No confirmed cases of elevated blood lead levels have been identified.
  • Most people exposed are unlikely to experience any symptoms.
  • The school has already taken precautionary measures, including restricting use of affected water supplies.
